Throughout her career she has gained extensive experience as both a performer and a choreographer, taking part in major dance productions and working within professional dance communities internationally. After moving to the United States in 2022 she became an active part of San Diego's dance community, continuing her work as a professional instructor and choreographer.
At Flawless Gymnastics, Elizabeth teaches Ballet, Dance and Artistic Performance, bringing professional dance training into the development of young athletes. Her ballet sessions are built into the weekly training for SRG Academy Levels 3 through 7, so team gymnasts work with her as a regular part of their week. Her work focuses on refining body lines, posture, musicality, coordination, expression, movement quality and stage presence , helping students become not only stronger athletes but more confident and expressive performers.
Her approach combines strong technical foundations with creativity and individuality. Through her classes students learn how to connect movement with music, communicate emotion through performance, and develop the artistry and confidence that let them stand out, both in gymnastics routines and on stage.
How we coach
What that looks like in practice
What that looks like in a class
Technique, patience and a lot of encouragement. The habits build over terms, not weeks.
How a routine ends
Competitions are where the training shows. They are also where a gymnast learns to handle a result, whichever way it went, and this is what that looks like from the floor.
- Confidence & self-esteemEvery gymnast is cheered on, every step of the way.
- Flexibility & coordinationBuilt patiently and safely, at the right pace for each age.
- Grace & beautiful postureHabits that carry well beyond the gym.
- Character before medalsEffort is celebrated, and progress is valued as much as results.
- A love for movementFriendship, growth and the joy of moving, the reason they come back.
New to the sport?
What is rhythmic gymnastics?
It's the Olympic discipline that blends ballet, dance and gymnastics, and it's not the one with the bars and the vault.
Rhythmic gymnastics is performed to music, on a floor, with an apparatus in hand. Gymnasts are judged on difficulty, artistry and execution: how well they handle the apparatus, and how completely the routine works as a performance.
It is often confused with artistic gymnastics, the one most people picture from the Olympics. Artistic gymnastics uses the vault, bars and beam. Rhythmic has none of those. Instead it rewards flexibility, coordination, balance, musicality and control, which is why ballet is built into training from Level 3 upward.
Because there is no equipment to fall from, it is a gentle place for a young child to start. A three-year-old in Little Stars is learning to skip, balance and move to music long before any apparatus enters the picture.
The five apparatus Rope · hoop · ball · clubs · ribbon
- RopeSkips, throws and wraps. Builds timing and footwork.
- HoopRolls, spins and passes through. The most spatially demanding.
- BallNever gripped: balanced, rolled and thrown. Rewards soft hands.
- ClubsA pair, worked together. Coordination and rhythm.
- RibbonSix meters of satin drawing shapes in the air. The signature.
